Case study
Project brief
A completed cultural exhibition environment combining custom display fabrication, protected artifact presentation, interpretation graphics, lighting, and visitor circulation.
Meiju fabricated and installed the physical display environment for The Drawings of Mother-of-Pearl Inlay Artisans. Custom black plinths and long glazed cases organize the exhibited objects while maintaining clear sightlines through the gallery.
The completed installation brings display construction, protective glazing, interpretation graphics, lighting, final placement, and visitor circulation together as one coherent environment. Curatorial content and the exhibited works were supplied by the exhibition partners.
What the installation delivered
Custom display fabrication
Purpose-built plinths, bases, and glazed display runs created a consistent physical framework for objects of different scales.
Coordinated installation
Displays, interpretation graphics, lighting, and object placement were brought together within the finished gallery.
Visitor-ready presentation
Open sightlines and a restrained material palette keep attention on the artifacts while supporting movement through the exhibition.
