Recurring Contractor Services for Ottawa Businesses

When recurring work orders are spread across fragmented vendors, Ottawa businesses can lose time to repeated intake, inconsistent follow-up, turnover deadlines, and maintenance backlogs. Meiju helps organizations that directly procure contractor services bring repeatable work under one accountable local contractor relationship, beginning with a defined paid engagement and a practical plan for approved ongoing work.

One local partner for recurring contractor work in Ottawa

Recurring contractor services are designed for businesses with repeatable or high-frequency needs—not simply a one-time project. The right fit is an organization that wants clearer scopes, a more consistent record of what was completed, and coordination as needs arise across one or more locations. Industry type is secondary to the work pattern and the organization’s ability to directly procure the services.

Who this fits

  • Your team directly procures contractor services.
  • Work orders recur often enough to benefit from an ongoing relationship.
  • You are managing repairs, turnovers, refreshes, deficiencies, or maintenance backlogs.
  • You need documented scope and review rather than informal, disconnected requests.
  • You coordinate work at multiple locations or expect that need to grow.

Commercial maintenance, refreshes, and turnover support

Meiju can assess approved recurring labour needs across practical commercial upkeep and post-work tasks. The focus is on selected work that keeps spaces functional, presentable, and ready for the next use, with scope reviewed before work is planned.

  • Commercial handyman services and recurring repairs
  • Commercial painting, refreshes, drywall repair, and patching
  • Cleaning and post-work cleaning
  • Turnover services and deficiency correction
  • Flooring touch-ups, doors, locks, fixtures, and hardware
  • Preventive maintenance and small renovations where available
  • Multi-location service coordination for approved scopes

A recurring relationship does not turn every request into a pre-set bundle. Each scope is reviewed for fit, availability, and the work required. Materials, specialized third-party work, and other non-labour components remain separate from eligible recurring labour.

How the recurring service process works

1. Assess the work pattern

Start with a recurring-service assessment. Share the locations, common work orders, known backlog, turnover rhythm, and the people involved in approvals. This helps identify whether the work is repeatable, what should be documented, and whether capacity is available for the requested scope.

2. Complete a documented initial engagement

Meiju documents the initial scope and completes a paid engagement. This gives both teams a real basis for reviewing the work, rather than assuming a future arrangement before the first scope is understood. Eligible Ottawa-area business customers earn the Recurring Service Partner Credit only after their first engagement containing at least CA$2,500 in eligible labour is completed and paid in full.

3. Review evidence and plan approved recurring work

After the initial engagement, review the completed scope and available evidence together, then determine whether a recurring or preferred-vendor service plan makes sense. Future work is subject to approved scope and availability. Clear documentation and capacity checks support better coordination, especially when multiple locations or decision-makers are involved.

Recurring Service Partner Credit

Eligible Ottawa-area business customers whose first completed and fully paid engagement contains at least CA$2,500 in eligible labour earn a future-service credit equal to 20% of that eligible labour value, capped at CA$1,000. This is not an immediate discount: the credit is issued after the qualifying initial invoice is paid in full and expires 90 days after issuance.

  • Credit may be applied only to eligible labour in the selected service items on a future approved Meiju invoice.
  • Credit may cover no more than 20% of the eligible labour value on each future invoice.
  • It excludes materials, taxes, permits, disposal, rentals, subcontractors, emergency premiums, prior invoices, and all other non-labour costs.
  • The credit is non-transferable, has no cash value, cannot be combined with another promotion, and remains subject to availability, approved scope, and Meiju’s margin floor.

What to prepare for an assessment

Bring a short list of recurring work types, locations, current pain points, any upcoming turnovers or refreshes, and the approval path for new work. Photos, prior scopes, and a view of the maintenance backlog can help define the first engagement. Request a recurring-service assessment to discuss whether a documented initial scope and an ongoing Meiju relationship fit your Ottawa business.
